Advisory Committee

The Advisory Board provides valuable expertise, assistance and ongoing guidance to the SICCC board on issues of strategy, management, advocacy, legal matters and communication with other organisation and governments.

Joe-DanielsThe Chamber, in its initiative to bridge communications between the governments and non-government organisations in Canada, has Joe Daniels Member of Parliament representing Don Mills East, Ontario, as the Honourary Board of Director.
Joe Daniels is the first South Indian from Kerala State to be elected to the Parliament.

Joe came to Canada in 1987 as part of the team working on the Canadian version of the EH101 and their support for the Canadian New Ship borne Aircraft (NSA) Program for the Canadian Military.

Joe owned a business in the riding offering marketing, graphics design and printing services which operated since March 2007.  Joe has lived and worked in the Don Valley East Riding for 14 years. In Parliament, Joe is a member of the Standing Committee of Human Resources and Skills Development and the Standing Committee on Natural Resources.  Apart from that, Joe is an active member of 12 Parliamentary Associations and numerous other friendship groups.

 


 

 Kris ParthibanMr.Kris Parthiban has over 20 years of senior executive experience in operations to general management and corporate finance in manufacturing, software, real estate and energy related industries.
Kris has held senior positions in major corporations: Director of Engineering at Hallmark Cards and American Greetings, Vice President of Human Resources and Planning at Newstar Technologies, President of Crystonics Limited, a fiber optics company, President of Strategy Energy Corporation and currently as Vice President of Tier1 Advisory Inc., a real estate investment advisory group.
Kris came to Canada from Tamil Nadu, India over 30 years ago. Kris graduated from IIT, Madras and has M. Eng. and M.B.A degrees from McMaster University, Hamilton, Ontario.
Kris has also been involved in community and political activities over 20 years. He is a founder of the Tamil Nadu Cultural Society of Canada, President of Multicultural Alliance and Executive VP of United Tamil Council of Canada. He has been a political advisor to Liberal Party, and was the president of Federal Liberal Association and contested as the Liberal candidate in Scarborough in Ontario Provincial Election.

 


 

Marimuthu KrishnanMr.Marimuthu Krishnan is from Madurai in Tamilnadu. He got his Masters in Business Administration specializing in Finance Management from Madurai Kamaraj University. He is the CEO & President of Acctax Consultants Inc located in Scarborough.

He was Convenor of the south zone officers Association for the insurance sector in India he worked and associated with Rotary Club of Downtown Madurai. Due to his interest in Social and community activities he was instrumental in founding the Tamilnadu Cultural Society of Canada along with his friends from Tamilnadu India He served in the Board of TNCSC as Vice President.
